Meet Our Executive Team

Gordon Steffens - President/CEO

Gordon has 30 years of experience in executive leadership in the global logistics industry providing key solutions for industry partners establishing supply chain processes and educating customers on best practices in packaging and the transportation and logistics process. Gordon is passionate about quality customer service, and his key goal is to provide each customer best in class customer service, treating each package as the “Golden Package.” Gordon strives to reach nothing less than 100% customer satisfaction. Gordon’s key interests include any form of motorsports, outdoor activities and spending time with his family.

Kyle Steffens - Global Sales Director

Kyle has been a part of the PPLUS Global team since the start. His 20+ years of racing experience along with his understanding of the racing industry’s needs (regionally and nationally) means he recognizes the importance of timeliness and safe handling when serving the performance industry. Kyle has raced everything from quarter midgets to Silver Crown Cars and he continues to race today. In his spare time, Kyle enjoys spending time with his two children, CrossFit, cycling and I-Racing.

Eddie Lin - National Account Manager

Eddie joins PPLUS with a strong background in customer service training & management development. He has a passion for applying his MBA studies to help businesses identify gaps and improve their current processes. Eddie met his wife in the mid-90’s while he was managing a fitness center in Bermuda. He’s still the largest souvenir she’s ever brought home to the St. Louis area from an island vacation. When he’s not helping businesses with the best solutions for their transportation & logistics needs, you may find him on the Weldon Spring Lewis & Clark Trail, SCUBA diving, at a target range or working out on the heavy bag.

Kim Brunton - Accounting

Kim has been a part of the PPLUS Global Team since 2017. She has 20+ years of administrative, accounting and management experience. Kim has a bachelor’s degree in business administration and plans to pursue her MBA from Fort Hays State University. Her attention to detail and her overall dedication make her a pro in our accounting department. Kim enjoys experiencing life through the eyes of her spunky 10-year-old son, as well as being outdoors, watching Cardinals baseball and listening to live music.

Justin Buel - Customer Service Coordinator

Justin began working at Performance Plus in 2017. He has 15 years of experience in Truckload and Expedited shipping. He understands what it takes to get shipments delivered on time as well as the importance of communication with the customer. He is a huge Cardinals and St Louis Blues fan. He spends most his time away from the office enjoying the outdoors with his wife and two children.

Brandon Sweeney - Customer Service Coordinator

Brandon began working at Performance Plus in 2018. He has well over 15 years of customer service experience under his belt. Brandon is a customer advocate and strives to exceed customer goals and provide outstanding service. Brandon has a work hard/play hard philosophy. He enjoys kayaking, fishing, barbecuing and playing bocce ball with his family. He enjoys hosting a weekly game night with friends.

Amy Rhoads – Office Coordinator

Amy has been a part of the PPLUS Global Team since 2018. She has 10+ years of administrative, marketing and sales experience. Amy’s ability to multi-task, while continually developing effective sales initiatives, makes her a valuable member of our team. Amy enjoys spending free time with her son doing anything outdoors, including swimming, camping and kayaking.

Rachel Ward – Accounting

Rachel has been a part of the PPLUS Global Team since 2015. She has 25+ years of accounting, administrative and executive support experience. Rachel worked in the oil and gas industry for 10 years, and then was part owner of a successful retail business for another 10 years. Her experience and readiness to provide support make her a huge asset to our accounting team. Rachel enjoys time spent laughing with friends, listening to live music, and watching football.

Emily Besgrove – Operations Support

Emily joined the PPLUS Global Team in June 2020. She is a recent graduate of the University of Missouri – Columbia, where she also worked with the Mizzou athletics team. She brings fresh perspective and insight to our operations team. Emily is a long-time racing fan. In her spare time, she enjoys going to auto races, concerts, and sporting events.
